The Mission of ASF
The Autism Science Foundation’s mission is to support autism research by providing funding and other assistance to scientists and organizations conducting, facilitating, publicizing and disseminating autism research. The organization also provides information about autism to the general public and serves to increase awareness of autism spectrum disorders and the needs of individuals and families affected by autism. At ASF, we believe that outstanding research is the greatest gift we can offer families.
Help Make the Science Happen!
For nearly a decade, ASF has launched, funded, and supported research projects to improve diagnosis, develop interventions, and enhance outcomes.
This Giving Tuesday, you can help fuel another decade’s worth of critically-needed autism research. Donations to ASF not only advance scientific progress, they give families challenged by autism the gift of hope. Become a part of the team and donate today!
Your donation will be matched by a member of ASF's Board of Directors!
What can your donation do?
- $15 can host another ASF podcast that summarizes the latest autism research and explains the importance of study findings for families.
- $150 can provide training for more adolescents with autism to develop necessary social skills.
- $250 can fund additional DNA sequencing and analysis to help understand why more males have ASD and how females are protected.
- $1000 can train another clinician to learn the gold standards for autism diagnosis.
Donors are reminded that many employers have matching-gift programs, which can triple the impact of a donation. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, ASF is eligible for many matching-gift programs of corporations, foundations and other organizations.
